Shipley area funding information day

Aimed at committee members, volunteers and staff of projects and community groups looking for small grant funding (up to £10,000) in the Shipley and Bingley areas. 

Individuals wanting to start a community group or project, or who are new to fundraising are also welcome to attend.  

There is a programme of workshops for you to choose from and you will be able to network with participants and speakers over lunch. Workshops include:

  • Get ready! What you need to do before you look for funding. (Sarah Moss, Shipley & Bingley Voluntary Services)
  • Avoid the Bin!  How to make sure your grant application stands a good chance of being funded. (Alan Eagle, Santander Foundation)
  • How to apply to Heritage Lottery Fund (Helen Peacock, Heritage Lottery Fund)
  • Your small grant funding options inc. Awards for All, Sport England & Shipley Area Community Chest (Lynn Leadbeatter, Fundraising Consultant)
  • DIY fundraising – how to raise funds for your group with no grant forms to fill in! (Fit4Funding)
  • How to apply to the Near Neighbours Fund (Carlo Schröder, Bradford Churches for Dialogue and Diversity)
