Co-op Foundation - iWill fund, deadline 7 July 2017 (5pm)

12 June 2017

As part of the #iwill campaign, the Co-op Foundation is looking for new partners who can increase social action opportunities for young people aged 10 to 20 to tackle youth loneliness. These partners will also join a national network of organisations tackling youth loneliness. The first round of this fund is now open and ten grants are available.

Charities working with young people in specific disadvantaged areas of England can apply. Bradford district is one of the eligible areas.

One local project will be funded in each English region (nine grants of around £35,000). One larger national or multi-regional project will also be funded (around £85,000). The funder expects this project to have "significant potential to grow and influence youth social action in disadvantaged areas, sustainably embedding #iwill quality principles and co-operative values into wider provision."

What is #iwill?

"#iwill is a UK-wide campaign to get 6 out of 10 young people involved in social action by 2020. Social action involves activities like campaigning, fundraising and volunteering, which make a positive difference to communities while developing young people’s skills."

Other #iwill funds are available.

The deadline for expressions of interest is 7 July 2017 (5pm).

Applicants successful at expression of interest stage will be invited to make a full application. The deadline for full applications is 14 July 2017.
