Greggs Foundation, next deadline 24 June 2017

17 May 2017

The next deadline for the Local Community Projects Fund and the Environmental Grants programme is 24 June 2017. Grants of up to £2,000 are available.

Greggs Foundation is more likely to make grants to local organisations who have a Greggs shop in their region. Most not-for-profit organisations can apply* but preference will be given to small, locally based and community-led organisations with a turnover of under £300,000 a year.

In addition, the Foundation expects projects to show that they have helped beneficiaries in at least one of the following ways

  • improved health and wellbeing
  • improved resilience/coping mechanisms
  • improved life skills
  • improved opportunities

Funding is not available for ongoing running costs, major capital projects or purchasing a vehicle.

*The following groups cannot apply: animal charities, "friends of" associations, sports clubs, and uniformed groups such as scouts and guides.
