Protect your charity from fraud - advice from Charity Commission

The Charity Commission has updated guidance on preventing fraud. This includes several e-learning videos that trustees, staff and volunteers may find useful. 

It can be easy to think that fraud is only an issue that happens at large national organisations but it is a significant potential issue for any group. Take a look at some examples of fraud news stories in Bradford district.

"Estimates of the scale of charity fraud in recent years have varied between nearly £150 million and almost £2 billion per year. It is clear that the loss to fraud has a significant impact on the good work that charities do."
