Training - Fundraising

Choose the right fundraising workshop for your needs:

  • Writing a bid of over £10,000 e.g. for salaries, larger projects, capital projects? - choose Bid Writing Skills.
  • Need to write a smaller bid for grant funding for equipment or a small project? - choose Applying for Small Grants.
  • Want to try something other than grant funding and increase donations from the public? - choose Crowdfunding.
  • Not sure where to start or where to look for any kind of funding? - choose Finding Funding.

Governance workshop presentation (Lincoln Oakley)

Training - Governance

Good governance training: Role of Trustees, 6.45pm to 9.15pm at Voluntary Services Centre, Bradford - £10 for community organisations in Bradford district.

In-house governance training: CVS Training has funding to run free and low-cost in-house board and management committee training just for your organisation. The sessions are:

  • Roles and responsibilities of management committees/trustees
  • Good practice /code of governance for boards and management committees

We can arrange these sessions at a time and place to suit you - evenings and weekends included (with notice). An in-house session means you can discuss your organisation in detail and work on the issues that are important to you. The in-house sessions are FREE for smaller charitable organisations and then we ask for a contribution towards time, materials and expenses on a sliding scale for larger/non-charitable organisations. We can also provide facilitation for away days and planning sessions and training on strategic planning and effective meetings - quotes available on request.
