Community Care Fund for Older People

Bradford Council Adult and Community Services in partnership with Age UK (formally Age Concern) is pleased to offer grants of up to £500 for small community groups that work with older people.
This fund is designed for smaller community groups and organisations and therefore groups with an annual turnover of less than £25,000 will only be eligible to apply for this fund.
The deadline for applications is Wednesday 18 January 2012.
Applications can be made for help with activities that promote the health and wellbeing of older people.
Activities could include:
- start up costs for new groups
- equipment
- providing information
- new activities run by existing groups
- activities that involve new members
- training
Continuation funding is not available. Activities or services that were previously funded by the Community Care Fund for Older People will not be refunded.
