Funding cut - what do we do?

Find out why the funding has been cut and if there is an appeals process.

If the notice period is less than 3 months find out why, and consider using the Compact to argue for an extension.

Check your cash flow and budget.

If the funding cut affects the whole organisation, call an emergency meeting of the management committee and managers.

Possible courses of action:

• Closure/merger
• Lobbying
• Applying for replacement funding
• Putting the project/service on hold
• Reducing/ scaling down
