Volunteer Management three-day course, Bradford

Show funders and investors that your organisation is trained to manage volunteers with this 3-day course. CERTA accreditation of three units at level three is available. 

Course content

  • The benefit of volunteering for the volunteer, organisation and community.
  • How to embed the principles of volunteering in your organisation.
  • The legal and organisational requirements for volunteering.
  • Different ways to attract and recruit volunteers.
  • Good practice for recruitment/selection procedures and volunteer induction.
  • Volunteer motivation and the link to retention.
  • Different models of support offered to volunteers.
  • How to identify the training and development needs of volunteers.

Eligibility criteria

Thanks to funding from Bradford Volunteer Centre this course is available at the discounted price of £70 per person. To attend the training you must be a member of staff or volunteer from a voluntary or community organisation based in or delivering services in Bradford District.
