People's Postcode Trust grants, next deadline 20 February 2019

People's Postcode Trust funds projects in Great Britain of up to 12 months in length. The funder defines projects as "programmes of work which are limited in scope and seek to achieve particular outcomes". Registered charities can apply for grants of £500 to £20,000. Other voluntary and community organisations can apply for up to £2,000.

Note: Postcode Local Trust and Postcode Community Trust are separate funds, also open for applications but you can't apply to more than one fund in the same round.

Funding is not available for

There is a full list of exclusions on page 3 of the guidance notes. This includes:

  • Costs not directly related to the project.
  • Wildlife Trusts, RDA, Girlguiding, Carers Trust, National Trust.
  • PTAs, nurseries, playgroups, mother and toddler and after-school groups, lunch clubs.
  • Building renovations/ general refurbishment.

The fund is open for expressions of interest. This includes basic details about your organisation, as well as a very short summary (500 characters) of the project you want to be funded.

The deadline for expressions of interest is 20 February 2019 (4pm).

Successful expressions of interest will be invited to submit a full application.

Further opportunities to apply

There is another opportunity to submit an expression of interest in 2019. The fund reopens on 31 July and the deadline for applications will be 14 August.
