Smallwood Trust Women First Fund, deadline 4 March 2019 (5pm)

6 December 2018

Charities, social enterprises and other not-for-profit organisations can apply to the Smallwood Trust Women First Fund to enable women on low incomes to access new skills, training, confidence building and employment opportunities.

The funder expects to make 10 to 15 grants at an average size of £10,000 to £15,000. Funding will be awarded over one year initially. Further funding will potentially be available from the Smallwood Trust from 2020.

"Please note that for this funding round we are looking to fund existing projects that are demonstrating good practice and learn from this funding to implement potential replication.

"We are keen to enhance our understanding of what works to improve outcomes for financially vulnerable women. It should be noted that part of the grant will include participation in good practice workshops to share learning. These will take place on 5 September 2019 and 6 February 2020."

Bradford district is one of the priority areas for this round.
