If you want to implement a bookkeeping system that allows easy recording and reporting of income and expenditure between restricted and unrestricted funds then this course is for you:

Course content

Learn how to use the WYCAS Excel template to give you the confidence to set up a bookkeeping system for your organisation on a spreadsheet including how to:

  • Set up the structure of the linked spreadsheet.
  • Enter financial transactions onto the spreadsheet with categories of income and spend, restricted funds and bank and cash accounts.
  • Reconcile the bank balance to bank statements.
  • Use the inputs to produce finance reports for in year reporting.

Laptops and materials are provided. A basic ability to use a spreadsheet is needed.
